University Transcript Request

The Office of Alumni Relations is happy to assist you in receiving copies of your official transcripts. Please note however, that transcripts are not sent from Alumni Relations, all requests are processed by the Transcript Office.

Transcript requests should be filed at least six weeks before any deadline.
Normal processing time is three days, except for peak periods at the end of each academic semester (November, December, April, May).


To send a transcript, you must file a transcript request or alternate signed written request with Enrollment Services. Transcript Request Form (PDF)

All requests must include:

  1. Name (include maiden name if applicable)
  2. Social Security Number
  3. Dates of attendance
  4. Address to where transcript should be sent
  5. Signature of the requestor

You may submit your request by standard mail or fax. Telephone and e-mail requests cannot be honored.  The first five copies per year are free; a transcript fee of $3 per copy is assessed thereafter.

Only unofficial transcripts are released to directly to graduates. Upon your written request, official transcripts may be sent directly to third parties, including colleges, employers, etc. Seton Hall reserves the right to withhold transcript services from students who have an outstanding financial obligation to the University.
