Regional Chapter Notes
What's happening at Chapters around the Country
The
Gotham Pirates, the New York City Chapter, held their
first event on March 23 at Bar XII in Manhattan. Alumni gathered to
watch the Sweet 16 and get to know other area grads. Congratulations
to Mark Innace '02, Chapter Leader, on a great night! Mark is
pictured at right with Daryll Walker, a member of the men's
basketball 1989 NCAA championship team, who was in attendance. The
Monmouth/Ocean County Chapter held their annual St. Patrick's
Day parade and reception on March 4, approximately 100 alumni and
guests attended. The Chicago Chapter held two events to
support men's basketball - one
at Notre Dame and one at Marquette. The newly formed Ohio Chapter,
under the leadership of Phil Sanford '05, held its first event at
the men's basketball game vs. Louisville.

The national reception program has been going well... Alumni had a
great time at the Miami Chapter reception, marking the end of
Seton Hall's 150th anniversary celebration. At left, Chapter Leader
Rev. Warren Hall '85, MDM '89, MAT '98 is pictured
with an alum at the event. Due
to the overwhelming response of alumni in Pennsylvania who attended
a reception, work has begun on the formation of a Philadelphia
Chapter. Alumni from the Houston Chapter will gather on
April 26 for their reception. The South Jersey Chapter will
hold its reception on May 24.
Mimi Mulhern '04 of the San Francisco Chapter and Joe Isse
'06 of the Portland Chapter report that they are already
planning summer events.
